Assocoation of Government Relations Professionals f/k/a American League of Lobbyists (ALL) - The Association of Government Relations Professionals is the professional association for lobbying, advocacy, and government relations practitioners. Formed in 1979 as the American league of Lobbyists by a group of people interested in creating an association for lobbyists to create education and define best practices, the association from the beginning has served as the place for government relations practitioners and those interested in it to learn best practices. It prescribes a strong Code of Ethics for its members to follow, as well as, a rigorous Lobbying Certificate Program that assures lobbyists have a complete knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes

Center for Effective Government (OMBWatch) - A website promoting government accountability. OMB Watch, a nonprofit research and advocacy organization, was formed in 1983 to lift the veil of secrecy shrouding the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). OMB oversees federal regulation, the budget, information collection and dissemination, proposed legislation, testimony by agencies, and much more. 

OpenCongress - OpenCongress is a free and open-source project of the Participatory Politics Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to increase civic engagement. The non-profit Sunlight Foundation is the Founding and Primary Supporter of OpenCongress.

OpenSecrets.org - OpenSecrets.org is provided by The Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan website tracking the influence of money on U.S. politics, and how that money affects policy and citizens' lives.

Lobbyingfirms.com - Lobbyingfirms.com provides information, tools and resources to assist professionals who work directly in or interface with the Lobbying, Government Relations, Public Affairs and Advocacy industries. Our members range from mom-and-pop shops and local chambers to leading industry associations and large corporations. The Chamber Directory Search Page lists local chambers across the nation. 

Tax Foundation - The Tax Foundation is a nonpartisan tax research group based in Washington, D.C.  The group also publishes a State Business Tax Climate index. 

Center for National Policy - The Center for National Policy is an independent think tank dedicated to advancing the economic and national security of the United States. 

Heritage Foundation - Founded in 1973, The Heritage Foundation is a research and educational institution—a think tank—whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. Disclosure: My wife and I have been supporters of the Heritage Foundation for a number of years.

National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) - Founded in 1984, NAGGL serves the government guaranteed lending community through training, events and lobbying activities. 

Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) - The Conference of State Bank Supervisors is the nation’s leading advocate for the state banking system, and the only national organization dedicated to advancing the state banking system.
